RE: Tonight's NFL Mock Draft important Information

in #nfl7 years ago

I see that you are one of the people that believe Dallas will draft a WR in the 1st round. It's possible and I really do not have a problem with it as long as they are sure. Personally, if they are going to get a WR, I'd rather have DJ Moore or Courtland Sutton over Calvin Ridley. You went into a lot of detail on this. I'm going to check out some of those mock drafts you used. That Derwin James low spot of 24 intrigues me. An outside chance he makes it to Dallas at 19 in that case. I don't expect him to be anywhere near 19, but if he falls out of the top 10, Dallas may decide to trade up for him, swapping 1sts and giving up their 2nd round pick. Worth it to me.

Thanks for the comments.

When I was looking up needs, DT and WR were generally considered top with LB, OG and S next, If I remember rightly. You'll know a lot more than me on the Cowboys.

I like Sutton a lot but his value is going through the roof. He was a clear second rounder pre combine.

James is an interesting one. I think if he's there at 14 the Packers take him. Him or Fitzpatrick!

The Steve Palazzolo draft is intriguing so definitely check that one out.

It will be a fun, and very late, night. It will be cool to look at the results and see how accurate these all are. I know previous Packer drafts under Ted Thompson have always thrown up a few head scratchers but it is now the Gutekunst era so it the unknown.

Enjoy your evening.
