NO Introduction & Hidoku (beta)
Oh my goodness, yet another alternate ego! But... why???
Well, it's really as simple as it sounds: I (the original) fell out of love with my blog (the original one). Games, games, games – and my little sheep and lambs (plus all those clever posts I wrote back in the days) just got completely lost in the shuffle.
But I do love playing games – so what to do? Aha!
No worries, I won’t be annoying or bothering anyone for now except the NO community. I’ll also spare you (and myself) a formal introduction – surely, there can’t be any doubt as to who I am. A fake? Well, perhaps Chriddi can confirm that I am Chriddi? And maybe my original self might even vote for this post, just so DUBby has something to hand out?
Here’s what I’m planning:
- NO-Wördel (a matter of honour!)
- NO-Quördel (of course!)
- NO-Hidoku (on trial...)
- and everything else that makes NO fun!
Right, enough waffling – let’s get this first game started!
And since this community could do with a bit of a reboot, I’d like to summon the players @p… oh wait, newcomer status (mentions won’t go through…)!

Hidoku (beta)
Hidoku Rules
Fill in the empty cells to form a chain of consecutive numbers from 1 to the total number of cells.
Each number in the chain must touch the next one horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
NO-Hidoku Rules
Of course, this is a team game – we’re playing together!
- Post your guesses in the comments using the format
D2=2(for example). - Every correct number earns you DUBby rewards!
- You can suggest up to three numbers in one comment. But beware: if even one is incorrect, you get NO DUBby rewards at all! Better safe than sorry – maybe just stick to one or two numbers?
- You may suggest numbers again when:
- the referee (me or I or myself) has confirmed or rejected your guesses, and
- another player has made a guess after you.
- We play until each cell is filled correctly.
- Pro tip: Print out the Hidoku grid and write in the correct numbers by hand – there won’t be any digital photo service!

Das ging ja schnell. Gut, dass ich heute Vormittag schon mitgemacht habe, sonst hätte ich es verpasst... 😀
Ja, ja, war halt die Beta-Version. Viel zu einfach. Und unbedacht, dass so ganz plietsche Leute (die eben nicht mit Hidoku-Lösern arbeiten, sondern ehrgeizig echtes Brain-Gym betreiben) sogleich das ganze Rätsel lösen und ihre (natürlich korrekten, denn das Rätsel ging ja auf dem Papier auf...) Vorschläge nur noch abtippen. Naja. Ich arbeite dran. Ehrlich gesagt ist die Neuauflage schon fast fertig, aber dann kam mir eine Zeugenaussage dazwischen... 😇
Der Schafmarkt in Lensahn zudem. Schade, der fiel ziemlich ins Wasser. Als ich spät (da ich einfach gehofft hatte, dass es endlich mal aufhört zu gießen) ankam, packten die meisten bereits frustriert und durchnässt ein. Kaum Besucher, ein süßer Streichelzoo mit gut zehn Rassen ohne Streichler. Mäx hat sich in eine Skudde verliebt (die der Besitzer aber nicht gegen Manni tauschen wollte) und ich konnte derweil einen sehr wichtigen Kontakt knüpfen. Die Vorsitzende des Schafzüchterverbands findet meine Lämmer wunderschön und will sie auch ohne Herdbucheintrag ans Schwarze Brett pinnen... 😁

I don't know why I feel so detached from Steem these days. Thanks to your creative efforts which reignite my interest and pull me back. Hidoku might be the warmup I need for my scanty activities.
I can certainly answer this question for myself. At the same time, I'm determined not to let all the losers and spoilsports take away what has somehow been a part of my life for a good seven years... 💪

Of course there will be a new edition of the game very soon. I don't know yet whether it will be often: I'm afraid that the game won't be an exciting team effort, but a labour of love if everyone does what Maan does and the suggestions are well prepared so that there can be NO slip-ups... 😉

Sehr weise! Wobei diese Strategie für die vorliegende wirklich simple Einstiegsvariante nicht unbedingt nötig ist. Einige Zahlen ergeben sich von ganz alleine. Für die 12 lagen die Chancen bei 50/50...
