A day in the life : Day 286
I stayed in bed a little longer than usual today. Not because I was tired, but because the blanket felt like the only thing that made sense in that moment. No urgency, no notifications worth jumping for. Eventually got up and made some lemon water, hoping it would wake my system up better than caffeine.
I didn’t really feel like working right away, so I started with something simple — replying to a couple of emails, clearing some clutter off my phone, deleting apps I hadn’t touched in months. That led to reviewing a few older notes and forgotten app ideas. Most of them didn’t hold up, but one still sparked something. Might revisit it later in the week.
The afternoon moved slow. I wrote a few lines of copy for a landing page I’m helping someone with. It’s not hard work, but getting the tone right takes more energy than people assume. I kept rewriting the same sentence till it sounded human.
Lunch was just rice and dal. Nothing fancy. Ate while watching a short YouTube video on minimal homes. Funny how people make living with less look so stylish online. I’m trying to live with less too — not for style, just for sanity.
Evening was quiet. Scrolled less, sat more. Thought about calling someone, but didn’t. Maybe tomorrow. For now, silence feels like a friend I’m not ready to interrupt.
