Fifty Ways to Lose Your Blubber
Continuing with the goals of a Summer of Self Care, which doesn’t include lifting weights, but must include building internal muscles, at least one of which We called out. Of course we shall eat better “quality” without being a TJ organic food-wasting snob. We must stretch and lengthen and increase balance. But above all we must talk about it. Chronicle and record and upload it so that we can measure progress and draw tips from dudes that have been practicing this much longer than we have.
We want 50/50… calisthenics, body work, pushups, dips, pulls & 50% weight training, mostly dead weight and machines for heavy leg work. We don’t mind being half-assed at each station. We are not performing. However, if (maybe when) legs explode (in size) and flexibility increases with the outdoor body weight stuff, than the only reason to return to weight lifting will be pure pleasure. If indeed that pleasure survives.
This could be the end of The Gymmy Jamm my friends. At the beginning of this year Ego was concerned about getting 100-120 visits (episodes) in. Now, we don’t care so much.
We will always be able to go back. We’ve proven that to our Self many times.
