On my phone, which I upgraded to android 6, is a function called 'do not disturb' which I turn on with "total silence" selected, and can set it to auto unset after up to 12 hours.

I actually have something similar on my own phone but the problem is me lol. I don't have the self control. Once the phone is anywhere near my bed I will reach for it
