Japanese Oden 🤤
I cooked Japanese Oden! 🤤 It’s a soy flavoured dashi broth with various ingredients such as fish cakes and konjac inside, I added my own spin by adding soybean curd skin, mirin, chilli oil and sprinkles of stir fried shrimps as topping. Super warm and cozy in a cool wet evening weather. Reminds me of the kind Japanese hospitality I had years ago especially when I went Osaka. There was this incident that I went to find oden in a osaka shopping lane but they sold out so the waitress personally brought me out to another competitor’s shop to ask if they have any too. I was super touched by her kind gesture and amazed at his Japanese service is seriously top notch! And until this day, I tried my best to apply that level of service to my job too and it does feel warm in my heart just like this bowl of oden 😍😋 #oden #japanesecuisine #osaka
