The Sad situation of Fake Ass Barbie Hair!
I've watched several documentaries and shows about how the celeb and "influencer" culture has been promoting very long "real" extensions. This Barbie hair push has a cost. Does anyone stop to think where this 100% Human hair comes from? Well, most comes from Asia, India and other areas where there are large areas of impoverished people who sell their hair. The hair is dark and thick and straight which in Western culture seems to be the ideal minus the always dark part.

It's curled, dyed, processed and put into or onto a lot of famous heads. We're all about having cage free eggs and such but maybe we should also wonder where our human products truly come from. There are even tales of women getting their hair stolen by force or held down and cut off. Perhaps loving what's on top of your head (or not), is a bit more important than shearing off the locks of a half starving woman trying to feed her babies to have her hair be dyed pink and sold for a fortune to be on top of Nikki Minaj's head or Kylie Jenner's..........op/ed
