Although the turnout was small, I would definitely say it was a success! It sounds like you all had some great conversations and smaller groups make it much easier to engage and converse on a deeper level.
Jason and I really wanted to be there, and had every intention of it! But... we live about 90 miles away and I got scheduled to work yesterday at the last minute. Glad to see that you all had a nice time and made new friends. Really hope to make the next one!
No worries. Life happens. I completely understand. We look forward to catching up with you all at a future event.
