In the US if you break the housing rules you go to jail. Sad story about the native Americans, but they play by the rules. I guess in Syria you cannot rebuild out lawed house 142 times. Because after the first violation in Syria you will be dead. Israel is not paradise, but it is the best place in the middle east unfortunately.
Israel is the only country in the Middle East (and the World) where pregnant women are shot on purpose by government forces.
