I was just writing a comment to someone else after a few weeks ago she was talking about this. This week at a gig the literacy council runs at the park across the street to give books to kids through the summer had their lowest turnout so far this year. I was telling her I wondered if it had anything to do with what appeared very much to be a gay man as the guest story teller last week. I didn't have much of a problem with that but if they show up with a guy dressed up like a woman it's over with, we won't be attending anymore book events.
