Looks like fun. We did the low key thing this year and just hung out with some family and the kids. With -8 and -38 with wind chill it just wasn't worth driving anywhere.
But I got to cook for everyone and it's nice being able to bring family together for a meal. We had 4 generations of family get together and while it's not my idea of a New Years Eve party we had a good night.
Most parties here go all night, and one day is much like the other here. Too much food & booze with dancing all night to too loud music and endless fireworks day and night. no matter the event. from 1 year old's birthday parties to funerals.
