RE: Is it hilarious that Calvin's dad, in Calvin and Hobbes lied to him every chance he got?

Sweet story. I always wonder how and when I will break the news Easter bunny, the tooth fairy and Santa isn’t real. It makes them so hopeful and joyful to know they exist. So for little white lies, I’ve avoided as best I can because of the guilt of the big ticket items. In fact, sometimes I’m too honest with our kids and expect them to just deal, it’s come back to bite me a few times. As for the really difficult questions, I often outsource to my husband. He isn’t so creative, so he always answers the questions fully and realistically. But my kids are older too. Although, they continue to ask how they can gain magic, so that’s always a tough one for me. :)
