11/11 - Armistice Day - the day the guns stopped, the silence was deafening.

And then it got overwritten by Veterans Day... now i do not mind a Veterans Day, but that is just another day like Mothers, Fathers...

However, Armistice Day was a holiday. One that should be remembered.

What do you feel about this?

If Patriotism is about the country, then it is only good while the country is good.
If Patriotism is about the ideals of what the country should be, then... mostly good?

It is really hard to define this as good when govern-cement is evil.
