RE: Welcome To My World - A Look Into My Typical Daily Activities As An Independent Reseller
Impressive!
I assume recycling day yields the best finds?
Wealthy neighbourhoods sound like the place to be. I wonder where my nearest one is, and which day is bin day...
Edit: Oh, and I hope the shoulder isn't too bad - injuries to people who actually enjoy working out are super irritating!
Thanks. Yep, recycling days currently beat thrifting these days when comparing time/effort/return... and free items. Every weekday is recycling day in some adjacent area near me I reach by foot, or in other quadrants in my city that are easily accessible by subway or bus. I usually just stay in my hood, but if I'm in another area by chance, I'll take a stroll and see what I can discover.
If recycling is put out in clear plastic bags on the curb, or paper/books in boxes, you're golden! That's how it is by me, so it's super easy to spot stuff because my eyes are peeled. Normal people just walk right past it all because they don't care or aren't aware.
Thanks for the shoulder hope. I've never been hit so hard in my life but took it like a champ. The missile on bone was a lot to absorb, so I'm worried about not being able to play baseball or exercise if it's severe. The concern is if the impact tore any ligaments cartilage in my socket when the blade may have been shocked forward as I was tense. I give it 60/40 for good news right now.
