Philosophy, Dude...My Brain Hurts (But in a Good Way!) 🤔

in #philosophy2 days ago

Hey Steemit peeps! 👋 Abax here, just your average Joe (or maybe slightly above average, wink wink 😉). So, I was sitting around the other day, you know, doing the usual – scrolling through TikTok, trying to figure out what's for dinner, and suddenly… BAM! Philosophy.

Yeah, I know, it sounds kinda stuffy, right? Like old dudes in togas pontificating about stuff nobody understands. But honestly, I've been dipping my toes into it lately, and it's actually pretty cool. I mean, think about it – philosophy is basically just asking BIG questions. Like, what's the meaning of life? (Spoiler alert: I still don't know! 😂) Is that cat meme REALLY funny, or am I just conditioned to think so? These are the things that keep me up at night, y'all.

I've been messing around with some different thinkers lately. Plato? A classic, but kinda dense. Nietzsche? Dude's intense! I'm mostly into stuff that makes me think about how I live my own life. Like, what are my values, and am I actually living up to them? Heavy stuff, I know. 🤯

Honestly, sometimes it feels like my brain is doing a workout when I'm reading this stuff. It's like lifting weights for your mind! And yeah, sometimes it's frustrating. You read a whole chapter and you're like, "Wait, what did I just read?" But that's kinda the point, isn't it? To challenge yourself, to question things, to not just accept everything at face value.

The best thing about philosophy is that there's no right answer. It's all about exploring different perspectives and forming your own opinions. And let me tell you, that's a powerful feeling. 💪

So, yeah, I'm on this whole philosophy kick, and I wanted to share it with you guys. Maybe you'll find it interesting, maybe you'll think I'm a total weirdo. Either way, I'm down to chat about it in the comments. What philosophical questions are keeping YOU up at night? What philosophers do you like? Let's get philosophical! 🤓

Peace out,
Abax ✌️
