RE: Melancholy Philosophy and Art

I believe art is the best way to connect over difficult/abstract feelings. The feelings that are most difficult to explain in words are the more complex feelings that we have to go through when in mourning. Melancholic thoughts as i have experienced are so much more then only sadness. There is also a remembrance about the good times. Some sort of thankfulness to may have experienced the past and the distinct feeling of loss. True and agonising loss that is worth to mourn over. I think it is one of the feelings that can be hard to go through and for that it is helpful to find some understanding. Art gives that connection between the inner world of feelings and the outer world of being. An instant mirror of feelings with all of its complexity.
