Whoa, Dude, Existential Crisis Over Here! 🤪

Hey Steemit peeps! biotris here, ready to drop some truth bombs (or maybe just slightly stale breadcrumbs of thought... we'll see 🤷‍♀️). So, I was just sitting here, you know, scrolling through cat videos (because, duh, internet), and I suddenly got hit with this HUGE thought. Like, what's the POINT of all this?

I know, I know, heavy stuff. Philosophy, man. It's like... the ultimate brain pretzel. I'm not talking about Socrates and Plato here, 'cause honestly, I barely remember that stuff from high school. We're talking about my philosophy. The stuff I actually think about when I'm, like, waiting in line at the DMV or trying to figure out why my socks always disappear in the dryer.

My current philosophical quandary? It's all about balance. Like, how do you balance being a good person with, you know, not letting people walk all over you? It's a tough one, right? I try to be nice, I really do. I hold doors open, I say "please" and "thank you," I even try to smile at strangers (sometimes they smile back, sometimes they look at me like I'm a crazy person. 🤷‍♂️).

But then there's the other side of it. The times when you have to say "no," even when it's hard. The times when you have to stand up for yourself, even if it means ruffling some feathers. It's like, finding that sweet spot between doormat and jerk. Is that even possible? 🤔

And then there's the whole work/life balance thing. Ugh. Don't even get me STARTED. I work a pretty standard 9-to-5 (ish) kinda job, and honestly, some days I just feel like I'm living to work instead of working to live. I mean, I need the money to, you know, survive and buy more cat toys, but is that really IT? Gotta figure out more time for hobbies and relaxation. Seriously. 🧘‍♀️

So yeah, that's where my brain's at right now. Just trying to figure out this whole "life" thing, one cat video and existential thought at a time. What about you guys? What's YOUR philosophy?
