RE: A Fool Hates to Be Corrected, But a Wise Person Appreciates It
People who can't admit they are wrong are like an epidemic on humanity. We all have friends and family who refuse to yield, no matter how ridiculous they are being. In the end, is it really their fault? Society breeds this behavior. We have to look to the children to break the cycle.
Society conditions us how to live. We create the aggregate way of life in society. Catch 22. But it's still the individual that is the root. Healing needs to be done, then society can heal and stop conditioning/influencing further individuals to perpetuate wrong/falsity into existence. What we do is our fault, we are responsible, regardless of influence and conditioning to do it. Society isn't a person that can change it's behavior, but an aggregation of all our behavior. The children are indeed the best way to change things into the future, they are the future.
True, there are many variables, but in the end, a person has free will and needs to make the choice to attempt improvement.
