RE: A lone bird

Very important. We must all come to peace with being alone. And there are so many ways we are taught to fear being alone, being truly with ourselves. Especially in the digital era, and especially relevant to the new generations who are digital natives, born into illusory versions of "community," sometimes not knowing the difference between that and real community.

Also important to know that you are not alone, and that unchecked individualism is just as problematic as unchecked groupmind.

I don't think people realise what harm they are doing to their children through this reliance on entertainment as a babysitter for the mind. They will though in time.

Unchecked individualism is less problematic as there are really not many out there. Many that claim it though. But I understand your point.
