It reminds me of the famous mistranslation of Krushchev's " we will bury you" statement. What he actually said was something along the lines of " we will be there when you are buried" which is apparently a famous Russian saying.

Either way my point being is that if that was translated properly at the time maybe, just maybe, there would have been less tension between the two powers of the cold war. Hard to say though really, maybe they would have found a different excuse to hate each other.
