Roofs of houses used to be made with straw, and they would remain very cool. For this reason, many people built bungalow-style houses using straw. A house has been made with straw, with a thatched roof on top. However, it gets damaged quickly if exposed to rain or sunlight, so it needs to be repaired from time to time.

One of the advantages of these houses is that when it’s extremely hot outside, staying inside such a house feels quite comfortable and not hot at all — it feels a bit cool. Because of this, many people used to build such houses.

However, these are now on the verge of extinction. Still, some people build them out of interest. For example, if there is an empty space around the house, people make bungalow-style structures with straw there. These can still be seen being built by some people.
