A Cascade of Color and Joy
With its cascading sprays of pink, purple, red, orange, or white, this hardy plant has become a favorite across tropical and subtropical regions. The Bougainvillea flower is more than just a garden decoration it’s a symbol of resilience, vibrance, and the joy of life lived in full color.
Interestingly, what we often admire as Bougainvillea “flowers” are not actually the flowers themselves. The true flowers are tiny, white, and delicate, nestled inside the bright, papery bracts that surround them. These colorful bracts are nature’s clever trick to attract pollinators and, at the same time, to delight our eyes with their brilliance.
