SPRINGTIME ADVENTURES , episode 21 - Just another day among the flowers

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

This is an episode in search of a focus ...well, not literally :) ... pictures are focused ... enough ...
P1940183.JPG
... but the author can clearly feel the unsettling lack of some defined theme ...
P1930372.JPG
... or a coherent story of some kind ...
P1930335.JPG
... it's just him wandering aimlessly through some coastal meadows ...
P1930373.JPG
... thinking:'' Oh, look this flower, isn't that a lovely flower, let's take pictures '' ...
P1950575malo.jpg
... or:'' Oh, look this shiny beetle, isn't that an amazing insect, let's take some more pictures.''...
P1930366.JPG
... and then a sequence with another yellow flower ...
P1950580.JPG
... followed with a scene with a bumblebee sleeping in the poppy ...
P1930368.JPG
... and again the yellow flower (, not the same one, just the same type)
P1950582malo.jpg
... and the bumblebee is now awakened...
P1930378.JPG
... yellow flower ...
P1950585.JPG
... and the bumblebee is ready to fly away ... Hm... this is starting to look like something coherent ... maybe will develop in some kind of story ... or visual poetry of some sort ...
... yellow flower ...
P1930377.JPG
... and now something completely different ...
P1950577.JPG
... aphids ...
P1950880.JPG
... and black ants shepherd them like a cattle of minuscule sheep...
P1950596.JPG
... a spider ... in the silky shelter made on the ears of grass ... translucent in the morning sun...
P1930364.JPG
... a small blue flower ...
P1930364 mini.jpg
'' I didn't notice this small creature there on the meadow while taking the picture, just much later I saw it at home, on the PC monitor. '' - said Borjan Radolovich while writing the daily blog ...
P1930376.JPG
... yellow flower ...
P1920893.JPG
... followed by a swallow-tailed butterfly ...
P1930087.JPG
... and a thorny thistle plant ... a very tall one ...
P1950255malo.jpg
... '' sometimes under the thistle, you can find other, more delicate plants, sheltered by its thorns ... kind of cool in a poetic way, don't' you think? '' - said Borjan Radolovich directly to himself ...
P1950254malo.jpg
... yellow flower ... this time a dandelion ... equipped with a bee ...
P1940096.JPG
... and some small spider on the grass ...
P1950405.JPG
... a hoverfly hovering by ...
8699_fil.jpg
... some more thorns ...
P1930266.JPG
... cobweb in the setting sun ...
P1930333.jpg
... a wasp on her nest ...
P1940190.JPG
... bug on the thistle ...
P1930243.JPG
... yellow flower :)
P1930378.JPG
... and this is The End ... Konec ... Kraj ...
Hope you liked this aimless rambling from flower to flower ... :) Have a good day ... or night ... wherever you are ...

( As always on these posts on Steemit, all the photographs are my work. )

P1950604.JPG

yep :) ... a bonus track, made of a shiny beetle and a small bee ...

... and now the final ending :) ... a yellow flower
P1930372.JPG

Mallow is not so low and delicate weed. They often are about my height (and I'm not a dwarf😊)

True ... they can be tall, large and tough :) there is some poetic freedom taken here ... and in defense of the author, we can say that this particular plant in the shade of the thistle was pretty small after all, because of the shade of the thistle, I presume :) ... but you are right, this is not a daisy ... a violet or something like that

Great photos from those insects, i really like it

Thanks :)

Thank you. That was peaceful, and lovely and awakening. I'm going to look at that album many times.

:) Thanks. Glad you like this rambling episode

loved a lot of images. translucent ones, webs, aphids and shepherd ants were the best for me.

For me observing the aphids and ants was also the most interesting part while photographing. I go to make
fungi Friday post now :).

I love these! The delicate flowers are amazing.
