One-Stop Hawk Shop
Welcome, automotive tourists! While driving on Route 66 out of Newberry Springs, CA, remember to pull over at this shady station for all of your birdwatching needs.
You'll find the floor littered with songbird feathers and raptor scat. Don't be alarmed if you hear some disurbed vocalizations in the eaves.
Go on in, look closer.
Hmmm, a stick nest. Must be a bird of prey. No owl pellets underneath, so I say it's a sparrow hawk of some kind.
Remember to tip the ghost docent as you pass the kiosk.
Bye bye! And happy National Trails to you!
Just a little casual photography on my Samsung Note8 while driving the Mother Road!
Love,cat

Have you heard of the series on Steem called, “abandoned shit”? I think it’s a fun contest.
Yes! I have participated in the past. I noticed that the current contest is on graffiti, one of my favorite photo subjects. Cheers!
Thank you so much for being part of the #socalsteemit community.
Wow, fantastic! Much appreciation!!!
Gotta love old spooky places like this one 👍
So true! I find them magnetic!
Nice photos. I love old abandoned architecture like you have captured.
Thanks so much!
