The thing is that people are too busy starving, so they don't have time to think of anything else like saving our planet, and we all end up living on a pile of garbage but at least it will keep us warm during winter :)

Yeah, lots of starving going on. Unfortunately the people who have no risk of starvation usually produce 20x as much trash. They just do their best to keep it out of sight and out of mind. I should say we as I’m not at a very big risk of starving though I do my almost best to produce as little as possible. And then I fly halfway around the world just to breathe those delicious jet engine fumes... mmm.
