Bluff View - A Little River Trip with Willie Nelson - Part 1
Today, Willie Nelson and I took a little trip to Bluff View to see what the place we normally swim in the Jacks Fork looked like since the flooding in April. I was disappointed in how many trees were pushed over and the amount of bank that had washed away. However, the lack of shade from the trees caused many different kinds of wildflowers and plants to be able to grow and bloom. Here are my photos from today. I hope you enjoy!
Down the path Willie Nelson goes
Past these first trees should be another line of trees. If you look carefully, you can see they are all smashed down from right to left. That is the result of our 100-year flood in April.
Possibly Purple-Headed Sneezeweed, but I am waiting on an ID for that
A Buckeye butterfly on a mist flower
I assume this is a small Locust tree. I will know more after consulting a few resources.
A bee visiting some yellow ironweed
I really don't know this one but it was eeeeeeverywhere.
I realize this post is getting kind of long so I will stop here. I'll post a second part later. Thanks for looking! Stay tuned!
All photos by me using a Samsung WB1100F.

I haven't been on it at all this year. It makes me so sad.
i'll drop you off and pick you up if you needs a ride ;)
I shall remind the husband of this! Either he's going with me or I'm going alone!
