Yes, with a BIG damn dam, LOL! It is a V shaped lake, north leg is about 70 miles long, south leg is 55 miles long. Big enough that it has it's own map, and a major hydroelectric generator station. They lost three or four towns to the lake, when they built it. The old highway became two extra boat loading ramps, on opposite sides of the lake.
The dam is about 25 miles east by boat from the new property. Made in the early 1060s, and VERY full with all this rain (bump those dimensions by 25%). A lot of drinking water, LOL.
oh, I thought you were right by the lake. Well that's along way from it if all transportation is down or the highways are blocked for some reason. That lake with those two long legs provide alot of miles of shoreline for homes unless they aren't building along the lake.
I can hit the lake with a pellet gun, LOL! It goes another 40+ miles past me. Several miles wide there too, should be good fishing! My Sister lives on the south fork of the lake, but if I go by boat, it is about 60 miles one way....
All the shore is Corp land (recently flooded, LOL) I am about as close as you can get to the water! May need a sailboat.
oh I thought you said your new place was 25 miles from the lake. Maybe you should learn to type what you're thinking like your liberal friend was doing.
