Windows are one of the most attractive elements of a building. And when stained-glass windows are used, their attraction is greater. The stained glass windows are fascinating as a work of figure, color and light, and undoubtedly Christianity contributed to their development by using them in churches. In Venezuela there have been some recognized contemporary cultivators of this art such as Alirio Rodríguez and Leonel Durán. I have a Uruguayan friend who learned art in Europe and practices it very well; she works mainly with elements of nature (flowers, birds).
