[ENG-SPN] A Stroll Through the Fields of Gómara / Un paseo por los Campos de Gómara
Not all is lost in the land of Gómara, which for centuries was the ancestral home and birthplace of one of the most influential and powerful families, direct descendants of the libertarian Numantians and a substantial branch, moreover, of those significant Twelve Lineages—and I emphasize the number in case anyone is interested in meditating and pondering Hebrew superstitions—that form the emblem of the finest nobility of that place some believe doesn't exist, but which I assure you is very real: Soria.
Although the fallow land is advancing, allowing weeds to take over where life once reigned with monotonous slowness, yet human happiness, there are still places in this land where the traveler can stroll happily along the edge of thriving fields, whose plots, martially formed on either side of the road, invite one to dream, participating in the creative game of reverie.
And further on, in that comparative Center of the Labyrinth, which is the town, whose sweat is shaken by the dizziness of the seasons, it is even possible to discover interesting architectural landmarks, which, despite having paid their revolutionary tribute to the mercenary demands of Fashion, still retain, in much of their structure, their proud original beauty.
No todo está perdido en una tierra, la de Gómara, que durante siglos fue solar y cuna de una de las familias más influyentes y poderosas, descendientes directos de los libertarios numantinos y rama sustancial, además, de esos significativos Doce Linajes -y recalco el número por si a alguien le interesa meditar y hacerse cábalas hebráicas- que forman el escudo de la mejor hidalguía de ese lugar que algunos creen que no existe, pero que ya les aseguro yo que es muy real: Soria.
Aunque el barbecho avanza, permitiendo que la mala hierba tome posiciones donde antes la vida imperaba con monótona parsimonia, pero humana felicidad, quedan todavía lugares en esta tierra, donde el viajero puede pasear, alegremente, a la vera de unos campos pletóricos, cuyas parcelas, marcialmente formadas a uno y otro lado del camino, invitan a soñar, participando en el creativo juego de la ensoñación.
Y más adelante, en ese comparativo Centro del Laberinto, que es el pueblo, cuyo sudor las sacude el aturdimiento de las estaciones, hasta es posible descubrir interesantes hitos arquitectónicos, que, aun a pesar de haber rendido su tributo revolucionario a los mercenarios requerimientos de las Modas, todavía conservan, en buena parte de su nave, su orgullosa belleza original.
