  It is said that Lake Dhanmondi was an abandoned channel of a river called Caravan in Karwanbazar, once. Time passed and so much water flowed through many rivers, but now there are no traces of the Caravan River. Therefore, the abandoned channel still exists and finally Lake Dhanmondi is a wonderful piece of green with a striking scenic beauty and full of life. It is only three kilometers long. The lake is surrounded by green. Several types of flowers are blown here and there by the lake. Especially in the rainy season, the lake is full of water. There are well planned trails on the banks and bridges over the water. Thousands of nature-loving people come here every day to take a breather from life in nature and get rid of the soreness of metropolitan life.  

  The lake, the green, the fresh air and several types of flowers blown on the side of the lake are the main attraction for people who love nature. Well planned walks on the banks and bridges over the water allow an additional opportunity to observe the scenic beauty of the lake. The lake is full of water in the rainy season is lovely. Arrange boat rides on the lake to entertain visitors. The best time to visit Throughout the year. But from my personal point of view, from March to October (especially the rainy season) is the best time.
