Flower Decor at the Mall

Last evening I had to again visit the mall, since I had to exchange something that I had bought for the home. And this Mall is very near to my home so it's convenient to go any time. Sometimes if I am getting very bored I go to the Mall for sometime looking around, I do not have to buy anything to visit the Mall. Now with the festivals coming up, I also wanted to check the gold rate. On one of these festive days, which is called Dhanteras, we buy gold, it's considered good luck and auspicious to buy gold on Dhanteras. It is believed buy us Indians that buying gold on this day brings lot of good fortune. Since many years me and hubby have been following this tradition, we do buy something, sometimes it is as small as 1 gram, but we buy, we do not want to miss this tradition. And this is a way to also build up on our gold savings, as it is gold prices are sky rocketing.

Every year the quantity we buy gets lesser and lesser because of the increasing price. On a monthly basis we have a budget for this, which we then use it once a year by accumulating the money through the year, this way the burden is not much in the month when we want to buy. This year we have not been able to save much due to some other unexpected expenses, but whatever it is we still need to. Dhanteras is on 18th October, so it's like 10 days away. Current gold price for 24K is 11680 INR for 24K which is around 132 USD. The price is just soaring up like anything. 2 months back it was less by 10%. I am hoping that in the next 10 days it does not go higher then this.

I got my product exchange done, then there are couple of gold shops at the mall, so I visited them to check how much tentatively it will cost me per gram. There are 3 Indian gold shops of which 2 of them had a very nice fancy flower decor at the entrance. Both of them had similar set up but the colors were different. Both of them were looking very pretty and attractive but I like the red one more, it was coming out very sharp then the pink one.
