A Story of Beauty Fragrance and Transformation

in #photography7 days ago

Also known by its botanical name Combretum indicum, this flowering vine is a silent storyteller in many gardens and courtyards across South and Southeast Asia.At first glance, the Rangoon Creeper doesn’t ask for much attention. Its slender green vines climb along fences, walls, and trellises, weaving quietly into any space it finds. But once it begins to bloom, it’s impossible to look away. The flowers of this plant start their lives white, shift to pink by evening, and deepen into a rich red by the next day. This changing color cycle isn't just for show it's nature’s way of attracting different pollinators at different times of day. White attracts night-flying moths, pink tempts morning insects, and the red invites bees and butterflies during the day. This intelligent design is one of the many reasons why the Rangoon Creeper feels more alive than most plants like it knows what it’s doing.
