The ocean swells and sighs, a gentle, dark advance,
Upon the sandy lip it seeks to claim.
A ribboned wave, caught in a liquid trance,
Reflects the blinding light, a sudden flame.

This quiet, early hour, a perfect, fleeting dream,
Where light and water weave a silken thread.
A gentle rhythm, by the rising sun's bright gleam,
Is all the voice the sleeping world has said.
The vastness calls, a moment held in trust,
Before the day begins, from dawn's pure dust.
