The day begins in a suffocating green haze. The air is thick and wet, clinging to your skin as you try to push past the enormous, glossy taro leaves and the brittle, sun-scorched edges of the banana fronds. Every step is a struggle, the ground soft and yielding beneath your feet, and the dense foliage presses in on all sides. There's no sky, only a heavy, humid canopy that traps the silence, making the distant, unseen sounds of the jungle feel unnervingly close.

A slow, creeping dread begins to take hold. You realize you aren't just in the jungle; you're trapped by it. The massive, fibrous trunks of the banana plants seem to lean in, their decay a palpable smell. You frantically search for a path, but every opening leads only deeper into the tangled, suffocating vegetation. The bright green growth is beautiful yet menacing, a living, breathing labyrinth that refuses to let you go.

Then, a movement. In the shadowy center, where the plants grow darkest and highest, something is watching. It's not an animal, but a shape—a human silhouette, perhaps—obscured by a vine of delicate, dark leaves. It doesn't move or speak, but its presence is a cold, paralyzing weight. You try to run, but your feet are rooted to the spot, and the only sound is the frantic pounding of your own heart against the overwhelming, indifferent green.
