I think it depends on who spots your post. I doubt if an alga rhythm can predict good content. It could just be random. When putting out 2 similar photos - 1 with a bit of text and 1 without any - often the one with only the photograph earns more. I wouldn't spend hours on every post as it is not worth it. To get to the top you probably have to be part of a select group or very lucky to get spotted by a powerful upvoter. Doesn't mean that you shouldn't put a lot of effort into some of your posts. Maybe some bloggers know how to attract the top bloggers as followers. I think the idea is to just enjoy it and things will slowly improve. For now keep it simple.
