I wish I could say those were just clouds but it was all ashes. These raging fires are quite scary and have been displacing so many people.

I have seen skies like that in Cali and always tried to photograph the sun but it never seems to appear the same with the camera lens as with the naked eye. And it's raining ashes.
Yeah it's so stunning in person. Hard to put into words or into a photo. It literally looked like the sky was on fire.
California needs to build water desalination plants large scale and irrigate the hell out of the wilderness...also grow hemp everywhere. It'll solve a lot of problems. Really, really great photo.
