RE: Great results from my 35mm Kodak Retinette 1B.
I am not familiar with that model it was the bc1 I used for many many years, with great success, even did some 30 second open exposure at night on roundabouts, which then only shows back and front lights of cars, minus the cars. I will dig a few pics out later to show what I mean.
I used to stick with iso 100 - 200 max film also.
All good here, hope you settled in well with mom.
The night shots interest me too and as soon as I learn how to manipulate the camera I will try my hand at it too. I've just found out that the lens that came with the camera, which cost me next-to-nothing, is worth £50-£80!! Really enjoying my new hobbie so keep your eyes peeled for more post about photography and camera repairs :)
That sort of thing. :-)
Superb to see you on such a positive high, I am happy to see.
And congratz re the lens, superb bargain.
Yes!! I love the streak of light chasing the road, that looks real cool and just what I want to produce.
Thanks for the good wishes too, I could only go upwards and sometimes it takes finding your low to bounce back.
