Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep under the usual late hour last night, this as become more consistent lately. Not out of choice or will power but because of all these early morning work shifts that I now get. It's clearly forced me to get a earlier bed time, but for me getting the right amount of sleep needed is still difficult. This is mostly because I'm stubborn, and want to fit everything in during the day, and I guess for me it's just not possible. Still I went to sleep later than I wanted because I spent too long with friends yesterday after visiting the park and getting food. Falling asleep was not a problem, I was very tired from the much longer shift I had from work the previous day and being out with friends. The weather this morning was light, the sky was mostly clear, it was a nice looking morning, temperature wise it was hot. Still if anybody as any solutions to produce heat without the high costs let me know as I could use that money saved to instead get more Steem. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this happens now when I'm off from work. It was difficult to get out of bed, but only because I wanted to get more rest after missing out during the week and seeing friends. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today, but more so I could rest, which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. There was no plans meet up with friends because I had already seen them yesterday. Meeting had been a little more difficult lately because my friends were having some major house repairs done. We wanted to give the workmen all the time possible so that this work would quickly be completed. I spoke with them yesterday about the repairs and it seems they are now all completed. I got all the pictures out of my phone and on to the computer, this is incase the battery on the phone stops working. Firstly I deleted all the pictures I didn't like. But now it's the task of organising them somewhat, but that will be a job for when I have the time to spare, but I try and get a few photos done each day. With the Steem price being low it's been a great opportunity to hunt some down, but it's still working out a little more costly than I had expected due to other coins having gone up in price. I had a lot of internet issues, so not much got done, these problems were likely down to the heat. At some point later things started to work better but around that time I was to meet online with friends. I was surprised that when I went on they all showed up, but some seemed rather distracted and not so much respecting the time of others which was a little annoying. After managing 2 days in a row doing my small work-outs I have now missed it 14 times. The previous time I pushed it again and I started to feel the effects of it, but honestly I been enjoying getting them done again a little more often. After I went for dinner, lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers part of the condenser project to fix the wrong display numbers. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

This photo was taken during the work day, our superiors were nice enough to provide us with some treats.
In this case we have ourselves what I think might be those famous Mr Kipling made mini cakes.
I believe these are called the "French Fancies".

"Exceedingly good" I think is the motto here, and I admit that for these French Fancies they are not wrong going by such a motto, they are delicious!

In this particular photo we take a top side view on this mini cake, from this angle I feel we can now see more clearly the bump at the top" which normally holds some delicious cream. A previous view from directly on top makes it look much flatter and rounder, I hope this gives a better understanding of these mini cakes and their shape.

However I'm sad to report that at least for me personally, and from what I have heard from friends, also from a few articles I have read, that others have also noticed and agreed that they are not what they used to be.

There used to be a time when biting into these mini cakes was a heavenly creamy like flavour of smoothness, these days it's turned more into a slightly sharper, sweeter and harder taste.
I'm sure for some people they will still love it but I admit I prefer the older recipe from a few years back.

Regardless for a work treat this was wonderful, plus at the time when this photo was taken they were still how I like them, with the older recipe.
