Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep under the usual late hour last night, this became more consistent lately because of all these early morning work shifts. And so I have adapted to this routine or at least "I try" to because getting the right amount of sleep needed can be difficult. Still I went to sleep later than I wanted because I was putting myself ahead of prep for the online meetings with friends which I have not been able to reach this point for a long time. Falling asleep was not a problem with the night being milder and myself being tired from all the early morning shifts. The weather this morning was bright, the sky was mostly a clear blue, lots of sunshine that may struggle to hold, temperature wise it was just about comfortable. The heating as been on less lately, meaning I'm saving a bit more but it still all costs too much and so you just see the money burning itself away. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this happens now when I'm off from work. I think I may have got too hot during the night but it was not enough to disturb me from what I know, however I did awake earlier than I wanted. This morning it was difficult to get out of bed, but only because I wanted to get more rest after missing out during the week. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today, but more so I could rest, which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. There was no plans to meet up with friends later, this is likely because I will meet with them tomorrow as it will be a more suitable day for mostly all of us. I still want to continue with the kitchen at some point, removing some of the mold that tries to settle on the walls. I got all the pictures out of my phone and on to the computer, this is incase the battery in the phone stops working. I deleted all the pictures I didn't like but now that they are on the computer I need to organise them a bit, and so that will be a job for when I have spare time. Since I was free of prep for the meeting later I took a look at Alfred The Chicken and completed it, in the end I decided to bin it. Half my friends turned up tonight the rest got there too late, and by the end my friend dropped a bombshell of material missing. Meaning I'm not done with the prep after all, very annoying just as I thought I had caught up. I want to try and get one of those small work-outs done but had no chance of that if I wanted to get the rest needed. After I went for dinner and lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers part of the condenser project to fix the wrong display numbers. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

With less photos available on the flowers found up at the nearby green hill area it's no surprise seeing more food captures making a comeback, yummy!

This particular photo was taken during a work day where the superiors were nice enough to provide us with some chocolate covered donuts.

These were found under a protective layer of plastic to keep them fresh, it was obvious to me that some staff already couldn't resist these tasty looking chocolate covered donuts.
Having a closer look here I wouldn't blame them, I couldn't resist them myself.
But this was mostly because I have previously tried on another occasion their other donuts which were also made by the same people who make these.
And let me tell you something.. they are usually very good.
The price they are sold for is not expensive, they are sold actually cheap which is shocking for their good quality, but I'm definitely not complaining about the great price for what you get it.
I think the close-up really demonstrates how delicious and the good quality of these donuts vs seeing them wrapped under plastic.
I don't often use the black and white feature for food but I felt going a little darker really brought up some the bumpy detail.

I'm no expert but I don't think much is needed to make your own "simple" donuts, simply get some milk, sugar "of course", eggs, flour and the oil for deep frying them. That's about it really but of course you can add much more to that recipe.
