A Colorful Wild Beauty
The beauty of the Common Lantana lies in its playful mix of colors. Each flower cluster can showcase multiple shades, making it look like a miniature bouquet on a single stem. The bright colors attract butterflies, bees, and even hummingbirds, turning any lantana shrub into a lively gathering spot for pollinators.
Native to tropical regions of the Americas, lantana has now spread across the world, thriving in warm climates. It is a tough survivor that grows even in poor soils, along roadsides, or in neglected gardens. Gardeners often plant it in borders, hedges, or pots, as it blooms almost year-round and requires very little maintenance.
