You are welcome. It's lots of fun talking about this stuff. I mention this stuff to average people and they just give blank stares... : ? The thing about fireworks, unless you go to disney world or some such place they only do them once a year. If you have a beach or stream or what ever scene you can go back and try again. I was not totally satisfied with my shots last year. In fact my sister took some great shots with her iphone. Some were better than mine as far as timing. I said to myself, next year...
Both my husband and I are into photography and have our own cameras, might have to have him set up different speeds to test out and me test out other ones, maybe between us we can get a few killer shots
If both of you like photography you can have a blast together. Back when I was married my wife did not have an artistic bone in her. She was totally bored when I was doing things like photography or music. I would take her to movies showing animated shorts but she did not get it at all. BTW- Chelsea and Tony Northrup have are married and have a major photography education business. Their mutual love of photography lets them be able to work together on what they love doing. And they do a live youtube broadcast that is funny entertaining and educational at the same time. So any one who can share their muse with their spouse is truly blessed.
That is really awesome, with the nest nearly empty a hobby together is helping us reconnect which is really nice, we are not just always at our computers or watching videos when bored, we are out exploring new places and talking about the shots we want to take.
