Bamboo shoots

Bamboo shoots — there used to be a bamboo grove here, and the bamboo plants were cut down. However, after cutting, the stumps were not removed. Now, small new shoots are sprouting from those stumps.

After cutting bamboo, the stumps should be removed, otherwise new bamboo will start growing again. That’s why these stumps need to be cleared. The bamboo here was cut a few days ago, and today I saw that small new shoots are growing from the remaining stumps.

These are very strong, and since they are rooted in the ground, removing them requires a lot of effort. That’s why they weren’t fully removed at the time. But now, they need to be cut and cleared because if not, they will grow back and create more work later.
