Oooohh...... I like the idea of it as 'rebellion'. Rebelling against natural, innate, animalistic urges. Rebellion against the primitive parts of our consciousness that want to remain mired in cravings, fear, and the senses.
Rebellion has always appealed to me... like gardening is rebellion against consumerism. Punk Buddhism? I like it.
