Steemit Learning Challenge-S27W1; Physiofit; Pain free Challenge

Hello everyone this is my entry for Steemit Learning Challenge season 27 week 1. Thanks to @ashkhan for starting this challange and giving us such a practical topic. I feel its a good chance to share my own experiance because pain is something we all face in our life.

Task 1 – My knowledge about pain

Pain is that feeling which nobody likes but still every person has to go through it sometime. Some people only think pain is pain but in real there are types.

Acute pain is sudden. Like you fell down or you get hurt in accident. It is sharp and last for short time days or weeks.

Chronic pain is more complicated it stays for months or even years. It mostly happens when an old injury is not treated properly or some condition like arthritis or nerve problem is there.

When acute pain happen body shows swelling redness and heat this is body protection. But when it turns to chronic the nerves keep sending pain signals even if damage is not fresh anymore. That makes life harder because pain becomes constant.

Task 2 – Case history

I will not talk about patient I will talk about my self. Some months ago I had low back pain because of too much sitting on laptop. At first it was very sharp like if I bend forward suddenly I feel strong pain. That was acute stage.

But I ignored it and after some weeks the pain did not go away. It was not too sharp but it was always there specially in morning when I wake up. My back felt stiff and heavy. Then I realised it was moving toward chronic pain.

Task 3 – Therapy and practice

I tried to manage it at home with simple things.

Hot and cold pack

In first 2 days I used cold pack for 10 to 15 min to calm down pain. After that I changed to hot pack because my back muscles were tight. Hot pack really helped me to relax and move better.

Stretches

Knee to chest exercise helped me unlock my back

Hamstring stretch because my legs were tight and pulling the back

I also did small walking daily so body not stay stiff all the time

I did this for one week. Slowly I started feeling 60 to 70 percent better. Pain was less and flexibility came back.

From this I learned if we dont care in early stage then acute pain becomes chronic and then its hard to manage. Stretching and using hot cold packs at right time really makes difference. Now I try to not sit too long and take small breaks.

Invitation

I invite my friends @hina-imran, @hamzayousafzai and @mominashahkir to also join this challange and share their own experiance.

Thanks to @ashkhan and Steemit Physio & Rehab community for giving this chance.

Hi @sarosh-akbar58

Thank you for your participation but I think you didn't read the guidelines or tasks completely. Because you have to use copyright-free images and also mention the source of each image. Secondly, you have to perform the exercises demonstrated in the lesson post, but you didn't perform any of them. It would be better to follow all the rules and guidelines; otherwise, you will be disqualified for this week.
