Steemit Learning Challenge-S27W3; Physiofit; Regain Balance & Coordination
Hello friends I hope you are great today I am here to take party and other interesting learning challenge that is about balance and coordination mechanism.
Balance
The term equilibrium or balance referred to the ability of the body how to maintaining a proper posture or either movement. Though the coordination and movement are proceed in a stable way and it's had controlled mechanism.
It's the combination of different processes in which not only sensory but nervous system is also involved and controlled the muscles and skeletal system in a coordinated way for more stable posture and movements.
The balance may be static
Dynamic
Reactive balance
If we see the static balance it's the tendency of the body to stable the posture either it may sitting or stand in a still position.
The dynamic balance it's the ability of the body to maintain the posture and stability it may be during running, moving or continuous to change the position.
The balance in the situations which seems different or unexpected the body maintenance of posture is called reactive balanced.
Coordination
For the smooth and stable movement there is strong coordination of sensory neurones, motor control which had connection of integration. Therefore it's highly important these processes smoothly functioning so that body movement may remain normal which the danger of falling.
In order for smooth movement there are different systems involved few are as follows.
The inner ear balance which is highly important as otolith and semicircular canals which are responsible to measure any changes either in head region or in movement.
Then comes through role of eyes which are responsible for providing information about the surrounding and environmental conditions and plays significant role in body position.
The sensory receptor in different areas of joints, tendons and muscles are responsible for providing information regarding movement and also for body position.
There is significant role of nervous coordination because brain is involved in sending sensors signals it moved through the motor signal which resultantly sent to the muscles which maintained the body movement and posture.
The integration of bones, tendons and muscles are working in coordination which are responsible for correct posture and movement.
Pathophysiological Mechanisms
If there is any disorder from sensory information which is from eyes, smear and other proprioceptive system it may become the reason of disturbance in body balancing and movement.
The inner ear plays significant importance in body movement if there is any dysfunction such inflammation of vestibular nerve it leads to impairment of body balancing.
The central nervous system such brain stroke can playing major role in body movement if there is any injuries or damage in the region of spinal cord or brain it becomes the reason of disturbing in body balance.
Though as the aging continues weakness in the muscles or joints area also becomes the reason of impaired balance and also increased the risk of falling.
The intake of certain medication such as antihistamine, antidepressants or tablets for sleeping can become the reason of impaired movement and balance.
Possible affect of balance disturbance may become reason of: Risk of injury may increases due to falling off as the impaired balance.
As there is impaired balance the walking or body mobility is reduced passively. Life daily activities becomes very limited as the walking and standing is reduced due to impairment. The fear and anxiety overcome and patient suffering a lot.
The physiotherapy and changed in lifestyle proved very helpful while overcome these issues.
Task 2: You have to share a cause that lead to balance and coordination impairment. You can also share your history too if your suffer from any injury recently that is present with symptom of impairment of balance and coordination.
Few days back I met my school friend she had daughter of 5 years and couldn't move properly I surprised to see what happened with Anabya, she told she was playing and falling from the table and she fell on side body her ear had internal injury.
She was admitted in hospital as inner ear injury affected her much she couldn't maintain her body position nor she can walk properly and fall down suddenly.
But now she is much better and inner ear infection and injury is much better we try to move her with support but doctors said she would be very fine within 30 days, few medications and therapies are suggested to recover her.
Task 3: It would be better if you treat the patient by performing above given physiotherapy management, share videos or pictures while performing and then review after getting treatment. (Try to use 2 methods).
Well I don't have any patient yet I decide to use sidewalk and then back walk, in fact it's really useful for the impairment and for better coordination, the video has to share on YouTube so my daughter friend helped me and secondly side walk video I have shot on myself.
The video link for sidewalk and backwalk
Thank you @ashkhan for given us such a great opportunity to learn about the balance and coordination and also we learn how to do better management.
It's all about my today post.
I would like to invite my friends @m-fdo, @jannat12 and @iqrarana786 to take part in the challenge.
