Last Weekend In the Park - Spokane Wa

in #pictures7 years ago

In the summer we often head to the parks for some recreation and people watching.

This is one of our favorite parks, my husband can find some pick up basketball games and I like to take a walk and people watch.

The park has basketball courts, several play areas, and even a tiny water park

As you can see it is a beautiful park, filled with fun, laughter, games, and the sights and sounds of summer. @whatsup

@whatsup,
It's better having such date! Life is something that we should enjoy!

Cheers~

This park looks pretty cool.
Great activities for the kids and adults.
Looks awesome. Enjoy @whatsup

Cities without parks would be oppressive.

In London, I like Regents Park, for it's open air theater, and I like Kensington Gardens, to sit around it's large round central pond, and feed the ducks. And I like to watch the squirrels in St. James' Park, which gives the best view of Buckingham Palace.

The closest I ever got to Spokane was when I attended a friend's wedding in Portland, Oregon. :)

Shirts vs farmer tans.

The one guy with the ball really needs a belt! lol

Lots of tall pines in that neck of the woods. Looks like a great time.

So awesome you can cool the kids off and have em burn off some steam and you can do some ballin' and school some fools!

The ones like that in our town are surrounded by baseball diamonds.

Upvoted because I love parks but we don't have those here :(

It looks beautiful, especially with the trees. I love the sounds of summer, especially laughter and children's squeals of delight. The fountains are so much fun for the little ones. My granddaughters love them on a hot summer day.

They just renovated a big fountain park near me last summer but I still haven't been over to check it out this year. The weather certainly does call for it too.

Park is a perfect escape of the crowded city. It is so good to go in the park together with our family.
