Also known as the black-legged penguin, the African penguin is one of the people who likes to see people the most, weighing around 11 pounds and measuring up to 27.
They are easily identified due to their physical characteristics, they are black throughout the head and back and have black points and lines in the belly. If you look at these points and lines, you will notice that they are different for each one. In this way researchers can track the behaviors and movements of particular members of a colony of African penguins.
Most of the African penguins are found on the south coast of, there are 24 colonies known to them throughout this continent and there is no other place on Earth where this kind of penguin is found. They make sounds very similar to those of a donkey in order to interact and communicate with other members of their colony.
The diet of African penguins includes a variety of fish found along the coast of Africa, these include squid, sardines, anchovies and sardines.
