Pizza Date of the Past, Now Just a Memory

While cleaning my phone storage, I stumble upon pictures that bring back so many memories. I came across these photos of a pizza date we once had at Landers. Looking at them now, it feels like those moments are just memories left behind..

We had pizza and roasted chicken that day, and while browsing through these photos, I realized something. Most of my pictures with him were about eating outside. It seems like a big part of our time together was spent in restaurants, enjoying food. At first, it felt nice, but when I look back now, I notice how much I was spending during those moments. More often than not, I was the one paying for the food, even though there were times he also did.

It made me reflect that relationships are not about who pays or who spends more, but sometimes these small details show how much or how little we are valued. With him, I never really experienced being entrusted with the responsibility of managing his income. But now, with my present, it’s different. He values me enough to entrust his salary to me, allowing me to handle, keep, and budget it. That kind of trust is overwhelming in the best way, and it shows me how much I am respected and loved.

Looking back at these old pizza date photos, I feel both grateful and wiser. Grateful, because even though that chapter has ended, it still taught me lessons. Wiser, because I now know what kind of love and partnership I truly deserve.

After that pizza date, we also went for a beauty facial session together. Another simple memory that once felt special.
