I Call Her Pain

Here she comes,
I call her Pain.
She took me out of your arms
And settled in mine.
She made you out of reach,
Made you choose-
A choice I thought
I was worth making,
But she told you to think, think again.
Pain told me you love me,
Now I’m not so sure.
I want to touch,
But our fingertips can’t
Make it.
