Lines for a Flower

And I did not think,
To fear the flower.
But the eye sees,
The soul breathes,
And the hand knows,
To let her grow.
This burst of life,
Cannot be maimed.
And never be tamed.
She charms all she knows,
In certain death,
Still life grows.
